Canada's Seismic
Project Experts
Peer Solutions was founded in 2015 by Lisa Eastman, Daryl Robbins, Justin Perry, and Susan Eastman: four industry veterans with deep roots in geophysics, seismic acquisition, land administration, landowner negotiations, and field operations.
With combined experience spanning Western Geophysical, Arcis, Polaris, Geokinetics and GeoTir, our founders built Peer on a simple belief; the entire project management experience should be effortless for the client. Through diligent planning and execution Peer upholds a high degree of quality on every program and provides solutions to deliver superior data on time and on budget.
Peer's unique approach ensures a member of our executive team prepares and is present on every program throughout its duration to ensure quality, accountability, safety, and program success. We stay actively engaged in the evolving seismic industry by attending industry events, participating in associations, and keeping our practices current with the latest regulatory and technical developments.
Our motto is based around the values of; client satisfaction, quality work, integrity, and honesty, that are fundamental to every lasting relationship we build.
Senior Team. Real Presence.
Our principals personally oversee every program in the field rather than remotely. An in-field presence ensures all issues can be mitigated in real time resulting in tighter quality control, clearer accountability, and faster solutions with limited downtime. When you work with Peer, you get the founders!
Full Project Lifecycle
From first permit to final report, we manage every phase: 3D design and geophysical integration, landowner negotiations, approvals and mapping, QHSE, cutting, survey, drilling, and data acquisition.
To ensure consistent quality service Peer has developed the Peer Solutions System (PSS) which encompasses the Total Quality Management system (TQM), Health Safety and Environment system (HSE) and the Communications System (COMM). Through the implementation of this system Peer strives to create an error and accident free environment for the wellbeing of employees, contractors and clients.
SECOR Certified & Compliant
Peer holds SECOR certification and is registered with ComplyWorks, ISNetworld, and 8am, meeting and exceeding Canadian oil and gas HSE standards.
Industry Participation
Peer is an active member of the CAGC and CSEG. We participate in industry events and are proud contributors to the CSEG Foundation, which provides scholarships and mentorships for new graduates entering the geoscience profession.
In-House Seismic Services
Peer performs the vast majority of services with our own people, meaning tighter quality control, clearer accountability, and direct expertise applied at every stage of your program.
We take the pressure of seismic acquisition off your hands!
Peer provides technical and regulatory guidance to every client, whether you are conducting a program for the first time or the thousandth. Our in-depth geophysical knowledge and regulatory expertise will guide you through the complex process of shooting your program with ease. Our years of experience are utilized to identify potential issues and plan the program prior to field operations; providing a clear depiction of data quality and an opportunity to make adjustments if necessary, saving you time and money.
Our team brings vast experience with environmental concerns including archaeological and paleontological resources, threatened and endangered species, and sensitive landscapes, ensuring every program is executed responsibly. Consultation with area stakeholders is critical to develop a program that includes physical infrastructure, lease agreements and right of use interests. Stakeholder engagement and ongoing communication limits overlapping use concerns and potential conflicts. In addition, all phases of the program are carefully scheduled to assure area concerns are minimized while maintaining optimal program acquisition conditions.
Peer maintains that landowner relations are of utmost importance, that's why we don't pass it off to third party permit agents. Peer respects and values our client's reputation and treats all interactions with the community as a vital component to harmonious relations on the client's behalf. Through our personal knowledge in agriculture and close connections with many ranching families, Peer builds connections that are lasting! Our in-field presence ensures landowners are treated exceptionally well and that all landowner obligations are upheld and expectations are exceeded, building trust and relieving apprehensions.
In-field program management is vital to a safe work environment. Seismic programs are often conducted in difficult terrain that contain many hazards. The constant area evaluation and hazard management keeps all field staff safe during all phases. Each hazard is carefully reported, reviewed, mapped, communicated and mitigated on a daily basis. Peer management makes continual on-site evaluations and can easily and promptly communicate Health, Safety and Environmental concerns or protocols to maintain our Zero LTI rating.

People Who Show Up
Our founders are active in the field on every seismic program across Western Canada. This isn't management from a distance — it's senior expertise applied where it matters.

Lisa grew up in the seismic industry, running the halls of Capilano Geophysical at age 8. She attended SAIT and the University of Calgary until 1995, then launched her career in 1996 as a seismic data broker at Probe Data (which became Arcis) where she became one of their top brokers. In 2015 she founded Peer Solutions. She is a firm believer that customer satisfaction, quality work, integrity, and honesty are the keys to every lasting relationship.
Co-Founder · Est. 2015
Daryl graduated in Geological and Geophysical Sciences from Princeton in 1990, playing varsity hockey and captaining the golf team. He worked around the world with Western Geophysical in InField QC roles: designing 3Ds, optimizing 2D line placement, and processing seismic data across Mongolia, India, Romania, and Yemen. Returning to Canada in 1997, he managed Western Geophysical's Spec department before co-founding Peer Solutions in 2015.
Co-Founder · Princeton, Geological & Geophysical Sciences 1990
Justin attended university in the US on a hockey scholarship before completing his Marketing degree at SAIT in 2006. He spent his first five years with recording companies Polaris and Geokinetics, then advanced into senior sales and operations roles in microseismic and project management. With 15 years of industry experience, Justin co-founded Peer Solutions in 2015 and leads all sales and client relationship efforts.
Co-Founder · SAIT, Marketing 2006
Like her sister Lisa, Susan grew up in the oil patch with seismic at the core of her life. After earning her Bachelor of Management degree in 2004, she became a Surface Land Manager; integral to program development and creator of a Land Management System. At Peer, Susan oversees all government approvals, regulatory compliance, third-party stakeholder engagement, and field communications, spanning accounting through to ArcGIS mapping.
