Lisa grew up in the seismic industry, running the halls of Capilano Geophysical at age 8. She attended first SAIT and then University of Calgary until 1995. After post-secondary studies, she started her career in oil and gas in 1996 as a seismic data broker at Probe Data, which soon became Arcis. She was one of Arcis’ top brokers until she left in 2002 to found GeoTir. At GeoTir, Lisa was Vice President of Marketing and enjoyed her role immensely. In 2015, Lisa founded Peer Solutions with other partners. Lisa is a firm believer of customer satisfaction and quality work coupled with integrity and honesty are key to a successful, lasting relationship.
Daryl graduated with a degree in Geological and Geophysical Sciences from Princeton in 1990. While there he played Varsity hockey before joining the University golf team. He was team Captain in his senior year.
After graduation Daryl worked around the world with Western Geophysical. He began his working career in a very technical role of InField QC. As IFQC he helped design 3D’s, optimized placement of 2D lines, and processed seismic data and refraction data. As his career progressed he found himself transferred to countries like Mongolia, India, Romania, and Yemen where the clients Western worked for were very HSEQ intensive.
Daryl returned to Canada in 1997, started a family and continued his work in the WCSB as manager of Western Geophysical Spec department. Daryl continued his career in the seismic services industry until 2015 when he used his skills to help establish Peer Solutions.
Justin graduated with a degree in Marketing from Sait in 2006. Prior to Sait, Justin attended university in the US on a hockey scholarship before coming home to complete his education and join the seismic industry.
Justin has spent 15 years honing his craft in seismic. The first 5 years in the industry were with recording companies Polaris and Geokinetics, before moving on to more senior sales and operations roles in both microseismic and project management at Geotir. Justin continued his career in the seismic services industry until 2015 when he helped to establish Peer Solutions.
Susan, like her sister Lisa, grew up in the Oil patch and seismic has been a big aspect of her life. Susan has worked for several Oil and Gas service companies over the years and after obtaining her Bachelor of Management Degree in 2004 joined GeoTir Inc as their Surface Land Manger. During her time at GeoTir she was integral in overall program development and created the TirOne CD Land Management System.
As Peer’s in-house land administration specialist, Susan is responsible for all government approvals and regulatory compliance, third party stakeholder engagement and management, and field communications. Susan’s aptitude for regulations and policy has been essential in the development of Peer’s HSE Management and Total Quality Management systems. She is a powerful force in the workplace and ensures communication is paramount. Her drive has enabled her to learn accounting through to ArcGIS mapping. Susan is an important asset to the growth of Peer Solutions.
